Geospatial Substrate
Geospatial substrate underlying defense ISR and rail safety applications.
HiPS is the service-tier geospatial substrate that supports Theia, Rail Sentinel, Rail Pulse, and AFWDS. It is not directly customer-facing; it is the layer applications register against to produce georeferenced output, and it is documented here for the benefit of integrators evaluating the platform stack.
Capabilities
What HiPS provides to applications.
Frame-accurate registration
Registers full-motion video and sensor streams against geospatial reference frames at frame rate, on the GPU.
Multi-application substrate
A single HiPS instance underlies multiple Evemeta applications. Applications consume HiPS without owning the substrate or its update cadence.
GPU-accelerated
NVIDIA-first implementation. Heavy spatial operations run on CUDA; integration follows the same hardware envelope as Theia and EVE Codec.
Stack integration
How this platform relates to the rest of the stack.
- Theia
- Geospatial overlay and FMV registration.
- Rail Sentinel
- Georeferenced trackside event records.
- Rail Pulse
- Geospatial localization of acoustic events along the right-of-way.
- AFWDS
- Geospatial weather decision support.
Under NDA
What is not on this page.
HiPS is documented at the integration level. Detailed schema, registration-pipeline internals, and substrate update mechanics are available under NDA to integrators.
